Miss Emily

Hi!  My name is Ms. Emily and I can't wait to join your child on our learning journey this year! To introduce myself, I am an Erie native and graduated from Fairview High school before moving onto Mercyhurst University. My teaching career began in Long Beach, WA, where I worked for six years in Early Childhood Special Education and taught kindergarten. Outside of education, I love to spend time with my family outdoors, garden, practice stained glass, and read.

In 2019, I moved back to Erie to be closer to family. I worked in Early Intervention, before becoming a full time stay at home mom at the end of 2020. I have three children, Sebastian, Rowan, and Juniper (5,2, & 9 months).

After three years of being at home with my own children, I am so excited to be back in the classroom with yours, helping them learn and grow! As a mom of three, I promise to take care of and teach your babies like they are my own and look forward to getting to know every student.

I'm a firm believer in the power of community and hope to create a great one in our classroom this year! I look forward to getting to know your family and student - please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
